Happy New Year!
It is the time of year when we reflect on the previous year, assess the challenges and successes, and set new goals. The Board and Staff of A Woman’s Work are making resolutions to find new and innovative ways to participate and make the world a more hopeful place for the women in our community who have fallen on hard times and have no other place to turn.
Over the almost seven years since our inception, AWW has been very fortunate that the community—YOU!—has risen to the occasion time and time again to support us and our mission. Your dollars and time volunteered have made a significant impact in the lives of local women in need.
AWW continues to help women every week—by making grants to help women who find themselves between a rock and a hard place. To carry on with our mission, we continue to need your support. We hope that you, too, will resolve to participate with AWW this year—whether that means you join a committee, become a donor, volunteer one of your talents, dine at Martini’s Bistro on the last Saturday of the month, or donate to and shop at Savvy Seconds. We are grateful for your participation, and know that we can continue to succeed only with your partnership.
Here’s to a New Year and the hope of helping more and more women who need us!
