A Woman's Work Advisory Board
Pat Carson
Pat Carson is a new board member in 2010. She is working on the Partners Committee and brings a wealth of volunteer experience as well as corporate knowledge to the board.
Kate Gaddis
Kate is the Board Chair for 2010. She joined the board in 2006 and also serves on the Fundraising Committee. She is an attorney turned stay at home mom and lives in Longmont with her husband, John and children Grant and Clare.
Sally Foss

Sally is a new member of the Board, and comes to AWW with 15 years of fundraising experience. Sally is the AWW grant writer for the Fundraising Committee. Sally and her husband, Steve, live in Longmont, and have two sons who live in Boulder and Minneapolis.


Betsy Gray
Betsy has served on the board since 2005 and has been active on the Corporate and Fundraising Committees and currently serves as Secretary for the Executive Committee of the Board. She is also a valuable volunteer in the office. She is retired from Wells Fargo Bank and she and her husband, Al, live in Evans, Colorado.
Karen Kramer
One of the founders of AWW and the original Board Chairwoman, Karen has worked tirelessly for the past 7 years to make A Woman's Work a reality. Karen serves on the Public Relations Committee. She is a retired Interior Designer who owned Kramer and Kramer for 30 years.
Shirley Lemmex

Shirley moved to Colorado from Massachusetts in 2000. Shirley has been involved with AWW since 2006 and is currently the Vice Chair on the Executive Board and also serves on the Fundraising Committee. She is also a member of Longmont Rotary and Light of Christ Ecumenical Catholic Church. She and her partner Brad Box live in Longmont and Shirley is the proud mom of her adult son, Ben.


Jody Lyons
Jody joined the board in 2005 after retiring from the St. Vrain School District.l She was the original chair of the Education and Information Committee and chairs that committee. She and the committee have spoken to numerous community, school, social services and business organizations. She also serves as Past Chair on the Executive CommitteeShe and her husband Dick have lived in Longmont for thirty years and are the proud parents of Trey and Annie.

Sue Mesch
Sue is a founding board member and currently serves on the the Fundraising Committee. She is the Senior Facilities Site Manager at Xilinx in Longmont. She has two children, Andra who is a senior at Longmont High and Kyle who is a student at Front Range in Ft. Collins.

Jill Nelson

Jill joined the board in 2008 after volunteering in the office at AWW for about 5 months and serves on the Events Committee. She is a retired attorney. She has also been a tutor for the I Have a Dream Foundation of Boulder County since January 2009. Jill and her husband Ted and sons Tyler (22) and Griffin (16) live in Niwot. "I am honored to be part of an organization that champions women in need in our community."


Nancy Parker

Nancy orginally served on the Luncheon Committe for two years and then joined the Board in 2008. She worked in International Education at Nebraska Wesleyan University before retiring and moving to Lyons in 2005. She and her husband Dave have two grown children and three grandchildren.


Kirsten Pellicer

Kirsten joined the Advisory Board in 2008 after serving for one year on the Fundraising Committee and currently chairs the Public Relations Committee. She also is the Treasurer of the Executive Committee. Professionally, Kirsten works in her family's Ace Hardware business doing marketing, human resources and buying. She and her husband, Manny Pellicer, have one son, Logan.


Carol Smith

Carol has been a member of the Advisory Board since 2006. She is on the Public Relations Committee. She is Vice President, Legal & Regulatory Affairs for Longmont United Hospital. She is also a member of Longmont Rotary. She and her husband, Mose, live in Littleon and have five adult children and eight grandchildren.  


Linda Snyder Crockett
Linda was one of the original Founders of A Woman's Work. She served as the President from 2006-2008 and has been active many of our committees.  Currently, Linda serves on the Partners Committee. She is the Third Generation owner of Snyder Jewelers, and the proud mother of a 25 year old daughter Stephanie, who is now married and living in Los Angeles. 
Diane Stow

Diane joined the AWW Board in 2007.  She serves on the Public Relations Committee. Diane is active in the community & currently serves on the Board of Teaching Peace.  She has been a residential Realtor with Re/Max Traditions since 1989, is a native of Longmont & lives there with her husband, Van. They have 4 grown children & 3 grandchildren.  www.dianestow.com


Carol Yoakum

Carol has been a resident of Longmont since l967.  She has been in ranching and real estate since that time.  She joined the AWW board in 2007 and serves on the Education and Information Committee. She also serves on the LUH Foundation Bd of Directors.  She and her husband Harvey have raised six children and enjoy six grand children and three great grandchildren.
