Helping local women in a timely manner...
During these trying times A Woman's Work has found that women need help more immediately than in years past. One of the things we pride ourselves on is keeping the application and funding process very simple. We have been able to assist as many women in six months as we generally do in a year because of your support. All donations go directly to help women in need with our events and our Corporate Sponsors covering the costs of answering the phone and working to provide all the help we can for those in need. Our commitment to put your contributions to work for the women and their families right here in the St. Vrain Valley has never been stronger. We welcome a donation of any size today. Your money will immediately go to work in our community helping women with shelter, food, transportation, child care and more.
Easy ways to help...
If you have a charitable payroll deduction program at your job - why not donate to A Woman's Work? You can designate A Woman's Work in the United Way Campaign as well. Thank you for considering us this way.
Donate gently used household items and clothing to Savvy Seconds and we get 50% of the sold items. We receive nearly $500 a month from your donations and are also able to help local women by providing them with vouchers to shop there. Donations received Wed-Saturday at the store at 611 2nd Avenue or call them if you have a major pick up. 303-678-7888.
Eat, drink and be merry at Martini's Bistro, 534 Terry St. in Longmont on the last Saturday of each month - they have generously agreed to give 10% of proceeds each month to AWW for sales on the last Saturday. Thank you to Martini's Bistro where we have raised over $1,000 in this promotion.

A Woman's Work provides financial assistance for a variety of needs such as childcare, housing, transportation, medical needs and more. We ask only that recipients perform an act of kindness in return.

By partnering with local non-profits in the community, AWW has been able to bridge the gap between need and solution. Financial assistance has been utilized for rent, medical issues, auto repair, and childcare. A Woman's Work has assisted women in need of eye examinations and new glasses, and has helped provide childcare for preschoolers whose parents were seriously injured in a car accident.
All of these acts are magnified by the research findings that social investment in women reduces poverty, raises productivity, and accelerates economic growth. Support for women benefits families and strengthens entire communities.
