A Woman's Work provides support for women in the St. Vrain Valley whose immediate financial needs cannot be met by other sources. We ask only that recipients perform an act of kindness in return. How we help.

AWW Scholarship

Do you know a woman who is trying to change her life?

The AWW Advisory Board is pleased to announce that A Woman's Work will be awarding one $2500 Founders' Scholarship this year in honor of the women who founded A Woman’s Work in 2003. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide a source of financial support for women who have delayed or interrupted their post-high school education or training, who find themselves in need of additional education or vocational training in order to obtain employment or to make a needed change in their current employment situation.

Application Procedure:
All scholarship applications must be completed (a link to the application is provided below) and submitted by May 31, 2013.

In addition to the application, the following information is required and should be attached to the application electronically:
- Two written letters of recommendation
- Verification of enrollment or a copy of the letter of acceptance from the college or university

Who We Are

A Timely Fund For Women In Need

By partnering with local non-profits in the community, A Woman’s Work (AWW) has been able to bridge the gap between need and solution for women in the Longmont, Colorado area.

Financial assistance has been utilized for rent, medical issues, auto repair, childcare and more. All of these acts are magnified by the research findings that social investment in women reduces poverty, raises productivity, and accelerates economic growth. Support for women benefits families and strengthens entire communities.
